November 2019 I walked away from my marriage, career and many false friends to pursue a new path. This was almost exactly one year after my first total nervous breakdown. I am grateful to be alive and don't have any time or bandwidth for bullshit.
My much improved mental state is now determined by nature, honesty, grace, resilience and learning. I am starting this page/channel because it is the only way I can have complete control over content and share my passion for regenerative living and agriculture any way I choose.
I will be inviting other plucky and pissed off individuals to join me in some very real conversations about life on this planet and recovery and resilience the is rooted in regenerative practices and learning.
We absolutely adored our two weeks in Tasmania. Here is a peak at some of the delicious, wild, and regenerative fun we had!
Here's a peek into our off-grid accommodation offering.
We've been hit by the wettest summer on record in this part of Aotearoa. Time we'd hoped to be spending working on building and infrastructure has been dedicated to cleaning up and treading water (literally and figuratively) until we have the time, resources and a break in the weather needed to move ahead with several repairs and new projects. It's nice to remember that we've made some progress when progress has been slowed to such a heartbreaking extent.
Weekends are pretty full from now through the Summer, but there is plenty of opportunity for a sneaky mid week trip off-grid. Book on Riparide or AirBnB
The youngest kid in our blended family is James. He is far and away the most enthusiastic about this project and loves helping us on the farm.

Decades of rushing and rescuing and ignoring my own needs culminated in two nervous breakdowns in close succession. First was in 2018 and the final straw and total mic drop on that life and version of myself was in November 2019. This page is dedicated to the principles and practice of regeneration, radical self-acceptance and care, and living a simpler more meaningful life centred on curiosity, creativity, grace and growth.

A raging biodiversity and rewinding success story. Ulva island is located near Stewart Island (Rakiura) at the very southern tip of Aotearoa New Zealand. Put it on your bucket list. It's incredible!
Just meandering around the Banana circles chatting about stuff.
In this video you can hear the cicada chirping as it was late summer when it was filmed. I loaded it up to the page late winter and the pond is now full and we will be making it deeper in 2023.
Just a little video of us up at the tent after a series of battering by incredible weather events they are calling "atmospheric rivers"
